GW0IRW.net provides details of my equipment and wireless operations here in Wales (GW0IRW) and the Thames Valley (G0IRW) plus practical information about - principally wire - transmit and receive antennas for apartment and flat dwellers, those with smaller than average gardens as well as us lucky ones with loads of space to play with. My main interests are Top Band and 80m - both 'Rag Chewing' and DX - as well as 10m, 6m and 70cm.
I've been a licensed Radio Amateur and member of the Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) since 1984 and have built various Beverage and EWE receiving antennas plus Dipoles, Long Wires, Zepps, Delta loops and Kite Aerials for the HF (Short Wave) Amateur Radio bands as well a both large and small arrays of phased VHF and UHF antennas. My site will include all my useful links for use by Short Wave Listeners (SWL's) and Radio Amateurs across a range of categories including: antenna theory and practical designs, remote operation, Satellite and EME activity, software & more.
